As part of LITERARY ESCAPISM'S "Black Friday" promotion, I wrote a little Christmas short story set in the world of Golgotham. It's called "The Yuletide Spirit" and it was inspired by my dear, departed friend, Del Close (1934-1999), who played The Ghost of Christmas Present in THE CHRISTMAS CAROL at Chicago's Goodman Theater from 1978-1984.
